Chrisette Michele - Epiphany

Yes! I fucks with this young and sexy lady. Her first album was a damn definite classic and so is this one. She certainly has her own "Swag" as you lame asses would say. Her voice reminds you of the great Billie Holiday, and she puts so much emotion and honesty into the concepts and lyrics of her songs.



I mean yeah if your a guy and you listen to this album you would think that its kinda girly but nevermind all that, this woman is on the right track and i hope she keeps it up. I classify her as part of the NEO Soul genre. NEO standing for "New Era Of". When you listen to the album you can feel the Philly culture that she comes from, but I suggest you get the first album "I Am" if you havent got that one yet (or downloaded it off zshare or rapidshare like most do ;) ).

If your a girl and you aint got this one yet then u must be dikin (nothin wrong with that lol), but you gotta listen to this one at least, cuz my girl def came up with her own "Epiphany" on this one and I feel her.

Rick Ross - Deeper Than Rap

When you hear someone say "Boss" on the track you most def think of my nigga Ricky Ross. He Started off in the game as only a man that was big from his area, but soon he grew and got the respect he deserved. Now he is one of the realest in the game and even the CEO of Def Jam records. "Deeper than Rap" is his latest album and trust me this man was'nt joking when he put this one together. The viscious lyrical wordplay that he diplays on this album is unlike any other one that he has made. He snaps on "50 Cent" and the rest of his lame ass crew HaHa (that doesnt apply to Lloyd Banks), He addresses his problem with "Trick Daddy", and he states on a few tracks that he was'nt a Correctional Officer lol.

This is a album that I can put in the CD player and just let it ride. Ricky spilled his heart and soul into this one and I very much feel him. He got "Deeper Than Rap" on this shit and thats how Hip-Hop needs to be.
